VUMC Survivor StudyList Item 1
The Centre for Drug Safety and Immuniology (CDSI) SJS/TEN Survivor Study at Vanderbilt University Medical Center is focused on improving understanding of Stevens-Johnson Syndrome (SJS) and Toxic Epidermal Necrolysis (TEN) through survivor participation and research. The study examines genetic risk factors, medication reactions, and the long-term impacts experienced by survivors. By building a large SJS/TEN research database and biobank, the project aims to support better prevention, diagnosis, and treatment in the future.

This conference, hosted by Vanderbilt University Medical Centre (VUMC) is a collaboration between DRESS and SJS/TEN communities uniting researchers, clinicians, survivors and advocates.
The goal is to improve outcomes for patients affected by severe cutaneous adverse reactions (SCAR) and is intended to bring together scientific and community efforts.
